EJ3 has been doing hair professionally since 2002 but has been cutting hair since the age of 10! "I always knew hair was my passion and I'm fortunate that I can live my dream everyday." 

EJ was born in Manila, Philippines and relocated to Los Angeles, California at the age of 3. Since then he has lived in Hancock Park. 

EJ started his hair career at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Academy in Los Angeles then moved on to Di Pietro Todd in San Francisco, California. After a few years, he came back to Los Angeles to work on the television show Extra where he styled Dana Devon and Mark McGrath. It was at that time that he also fulfilled one his dreams by working on the Victoria's Secret fashion show aired on CBS. "This is where I feel my styling for hair lies. I love big, sexy, effortless hair and that is exactly what Victoria's Secret hair is."

EJ worked on music videos like Janet Jackson's "So Excited" and Metro Station's "Seventeen Forever". He also did make overs on MTV's "Made" television show. 

EJ has worked on various fashion look books and LA Fashion Week. He then went on to being Paula Abdul's personal hairstylist and now finds his happiness back at salon life. 

EJ's talents are also utilized for editorials, print work, and special events like the Oscars, the Emmys, and the Grammys. Last but not least, EJ has beautified many brides and grooms on their special day.

EJ is a believer in continued education. He feels it is a service to his clients to always keep up on the latest trends. He loves to learn from other talented stylists which he says fuels his drive. He has trained at the Bumble and Bumble Hair University in New York City, Toni and Guy in Newport Beach, and has also taken classes at the 901 Academy in L.A. EJ also attended a master make up class by celebrity artist Scott Barnes in West Hollywood. "I take everything I've learned and create my own signature on every client."

EJ started at the RCD studio in 2010 and has been on Larchmont ever since. "Larchmont is home and hair, beauty and fashion are my life."
